By booking a consultation, I confirm that I have read, understood, and agree to the terms and conditions outlined.
I hereby understand and acknowledge that this booking is for a one-time online parent consultation arranged through Intuitive Events Limited and delivered by a parenting Specialist. The services provided by the Specialist are intended to offer parent coaching, including guidance, signposting to appropriate support and coping strategies for parents supporting teenagers with difficulties. Children are not permitted to attend or take part in this parent consultation.
Scope: The consultation services provided by the Specialist are for a one-time online parent consultation arranged through Intuitive Events Ltd and are not intended to establish an ongoing therapeutic relationship. These services are not a substitute for medical or psychiatric treatment and are not a clinical intervention but rather parent consultation.
Online Consultations: Will take place in a private session between the Parent/s and the Specialist. It is important to note that these sessions will not be recorded to safeguard confidentiality. Links and joining instructions will be provided
Relationship: This consultation does not create an ongoing therapeutic relationship between the Parent/s and the Specialist. If further sessions are desired, additional bookings must be made directly with the Specialist (and will comply with their separate safeguarding policies and terms & conditions).
Limits of Confidentiality: While confidentiality is a priority, there are legal and ethical limitations. If there is a concern for the safety and well-being of a child or anyone else, even though the child is not permitted to attend the parent consultation, the Specialist may be obligated to report this information to the appropriate authorities as required by their professional registration body. See Safeguarding below.
Parental Responsibility: It is the responsibility of the parent or legal guardian to seek appropriate medical or psychiatric care for themselves or their child if needed. Intuitive Events Ltd and the Specialist is not liable for any decisions made by the parent based on the information provided during this one-time parent consultation.
No Guarantee of Outcomes: Intuitive Events Ltd and the Specialist cannot guarantee specific outcomes or results from the one-time parent consultation. Each individual's experience is unique, and the effectiveness of the support provided may vary.
Assumption of Risk: The Parent/s understands that participating in this one-time parent consultation involves some level of emotional risk and voluntarily assumes any and all risks associated with their participation.
Safeguarding: Is integral to ensuring the well-being of children and vulnerable adults. It involves implementing proactive measures to protect them from harm. While the Specialists focus on providing support and guidance to adult parents, they are also vigilant to potential risks. In the event that the Specialist becomes aware of a situation deemed risky for either children or vulnerable adults, they are obligated to respond promptly and appropriately as required by the professional body with whom they are registered. The priority is to create a secure environment, and any concerns raised will be addressed in accordance with established safeguarding procedures. Your safety and the well-being of those under your care are paramount.
Abuse: We appreciate your understanding that these sessions may involve sensitive and emotional content shared by you with the Specialist. It is imperative to maintain a respectful and considerate atmosphere. Our specialists are committed to providing a safe and supportive environment. Any form of abuse, including inappropriate behaviour, language, or tone of voice, will not be tolerated. In such cases, the consultation will promptly conclude and the consultation session fees will be forfeited by the Parent/s. Your cooperation ensures a positive and secure experience for everyone involved.
Cancellation Policy
You have up to 24 hours before your appointment to notify us of a cancellation. If you cancel with less than 24 hours’ notice, the full parent consultation fee will be charged.
